The Journey continues to the "New" Corky's

Welcome again to our journey... The first page of our web site entitled The "Original" Corky's of Connecticut was created the summer of 2000 in anticipation of re-opening a new Corky's in Naples, Florida.

I thought to myself... "this time I will keep things simple by not expanding the location or the menu, such as I did in Connecticut." I searched for a location in Naples, FL. where I had been living since I retired in 1995. My plan did not materialize the way I anticipated.

Then in speaking with my daughter-in-law Sarah in Connecticut, she expressed an interest to be involved in the project if I were to consider a Connecticut location. I thought... "maybe I should just re-open back in CT where we began so many years ago and where Corky's was so well known." So I searched for a location in Connecticut. After several months passed, I realized once again, things were not materializing as I thought. I couldn't seem to find a location that I was comfortable with.

Then it happened... On January 28, 2001 I met Michele Renae from Arlington, Texas. Now our journey is about to continue in Arlington, Texas.

Our number in Arlington, TX. is 817-561-CORKYS(2675).

We are in Lincoln Court Plaza at 4760 Little Rd.

We're open Tuesday through Thursday 11 am to 8:30 pm and Friday & Saturday 11 am to 9:30 pm.

We are closed Sunday & Monday.

FAMILY TIME - VACATIONS: Owning and operating a family business can be demanding. Periodically we take a few days to relax and "smell the roses".  

For your convenience we will post the exact dates right here several weeks in advance if we are going to close. If no dates are posted that means we will remain open.

Pictured above is truly Old World Wood-Fired Brick Oven baking... A centuries old Tradition!

After a while I felt led to re-locate to Arlington, Texas to be with Michele and continue my search for a location.
Soon it was evident that this is where I was meant to be. I found a very nice location in no time at all and everything fell into place.

As I said before, my goal is to keep things simple and fun by opening a small, friendly, family oriented, "Old World" Brick Oven Pizzeria, similar to the one I first opened in Connecticut in the 70's.

Our focus will be on the centuries old tradition...
“Apizza Napoletana” (Neapolitan Pizza), Spinach Pie, Calzone, and Strombolli... all made fresh-to-order and baked directly on the “open hearth” in our Custom-Built, Authentic Old World Wood-Fired Brick Oven.

We'll also serve Garden Salads and Beverages... and as time goes on, we'll slowly add other simple Italian Specialty items but keep things simple.

I promise to continue my family's commitment to Authentic "Old World" Traditions of High Quality Products and Personalized Service... the way it used to be.

I look forward to y'all stopping by to "break bread" with us at the "New" Corky's. Bring the whole family...
